Web Developer @ Light Bridge Studio
December 2014 - Present

  • Sole web developer for The Home Depot's Careers website.
    • Work with LightBridge designer to turn graphics files into new finished web pages (Ex: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5)
    • Develop new UI features, make old pages responsive, refactor LESS files, etc.
    • Maintain backend PHP (elastic search queries, etc).
    • This site existed before I came on board, but I've refactored a ton of JS, PHP, LESS and HTML markup. I redid the site navigation.
    • The site is tested to support IE8 and above
  • Developer for LightBridge Studio and ChadBishop websites.
    • Rebuilt the site using Laravel 5.2 (was previously on an older version)
    • Removed dependency on MySQL, and moved to a simpler file based approach which allows the client (designer) to edit content more easily.

EPSCoR Program at UH Hilo
Spring 2010 – Fall 2013

  • Co-lead developer of the Hawaii EPSCoR site
    • Developed a large system using Drupal 6
    • System was used by researchers state-wide to input data about their EPSCoR efforts.
    • Generated various outputs for reporting back to NSF
  • Developer on spin-off national program involing 6+ other US states
    • System was developed in Drupal 7 based on our D6 work in Hawaii.
    • Involved coordinated efforts between Utah, New Mexico, Alaska, New Hampshire, Hawaii, Rhode Island.
    • Created a generalized system that could be used for EPSCoR reporting in other states

  • Bachelors of Science in Computer Science from the University of Hawaii at Hilo in December of 2013.
